Another history was engraved in Puncak Niaga Holdings Berhad’s calendar when it bagged the Intergrated Reporting in an Annual Report category at the ACCA Malaysia Sustainability Reporting Awards (MaSRA) 2009 presentation ceremony at the Hilton Kuala Lumpur on August 13, 2009.
The Award was presented to YBhg Dato’ Matlasa Hitam, Managing Director, Puncak Niaga Holdings Berhad by the Guest of Honor YB Dato’ Wira Chor Chee Heung, Deputy Minister of Finance, Malaysia.
ACCA Awards recognize companies for excellence in environmental, social and sustainability reporting. The aim of this Award is to identify and reward innovative attempts to communicate corporate social responsibility performance. The reward is focused towards transparency through reporting.
A report has been produced to give an overview of the judges’ findings. The report also captures the strengths which won awards and highlights additional examples of good reporting practice. It is their aim that the winning reports will provide the bench strengths, for others to get started or improve companies corporate social and environmental reporting.
