The Minister of Energy, Green Technology and Water, Yang Berhormat Datuk Peter Chin Fah Kui made a visit to the Wangsa Maju Water Treatment Plant, on 3 August 2009.
The Company’s top management, lead by the Managing Director, Y.Bhg Dato’ Matlasa Hitam with the Board of Directors and staff of PNSB greeted the Minister, Deputy Minister YB Noriah Kasnon and the ministry’s officials.
In his short visit, YB Datuk Peter Chin was briefed by the Chief Operating Officer of PNSB, Y.Bhg. Dato’ Syed Danial, on the water treatment processes which being operated at the plant.
After the briefing, the Minister was taken for a tour around the plant to observe how water was being treated using the ‘Dissoved Air Floatation’ (DAF).
After the visit at the plant, Yang Berhormat Datuk Peter Chin Fah Kui then made his way for another visit to the Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (SYABAS) headquarters in Jalan Pantai Bahru.
