  PUNCAK NIAGA SIGNED MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING WITH K-WATER INSTITUTE AND KOREAN SOCIETY OF WATER
AND WASTEWATER
       
 

The world beyond boundaries has opened the gap between two prominent countries in dealing with water treatment technologies. Puncak Research Centre Sdn. Bhd. (a subsidiary of Puncak Niaga Holdings Berhad) and Water Association of Selangor, Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya (SWan) have tied-up a Memorandum of Understanding with K-Water Institute and Korean Society of Water and Wastewater at Wisma Rozali on 27 October 2010

The objective of the Memorandum of Understanding is to encourage voluntary interaction and mutual beneficial cooperation besides fostering a cordial relationship between two countries under the open door concept.

“We are delighted with the conclusion of this Memorandum of Understanding as we will be focusing on sharing of knowledge and experience, exchange of technological materials and other related information besides developing future areas of joint research”, said YBhg. Tan Sri Rozali Ismail, Executive Chairman of Puncak Niaga Holdings Berhad.

“In this globally connected world that has been hailed as the Asian Century, international co-operation to face up to global competition is therefore the key to success. And this co-operative spirit between two Asian nations is central to the Memorandum of Understanding that we are signing today”, he added.

Professor Kim Yeong Kwan, the President of Korean Society of Water and Wastewater told the media that the Memorandum of Understanding caters a diversified research cooperation between Puncak Research Centre Sdn. Bhd. and Water Association of Selangor, Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya especially in the areas of education, training and commercial in venturing into additional investment opportunities and technology partnership.
