Puncak Niaga Sdn Bhd (PNSB), with the assistance of Water Association of Selangor, Kuala Lumpur And  Putrajaya (SWAn) and Gabungan Wawasan Generasi Felda (GWGF),  celebrated  the success of three students from Sekolah Menengah Teloi Kanan, Kedah after  winning three gold medals during the INTERNATIONAL ENVIRONMENTAL CONFERENCE JOENSUU WAY 2009, Finland at Wisma Rozali on the 17 June 2009.

Mohd Khairul Effendi, 17, Som Jad a/l Muniandy, 16, and Mohamad Fazrel Ashraf, 15, were fetched from their hometown and brought to Wisma Rozali, in Shah Alam, where a presentation of their success was held to commemorate their victory.

The trio had made the nation proud at the international level when they won gold medal after presenting a paper on Climate Change, Planting of Trees and Water Quality Research at the 2009 Joensuu Way Environment Proceeding which was held from April 12 to 22 April. 

Their researches were also being presented during the ceremony.

Apart from the students’ researches, the Company also presented a paper on Climate Change Impacts On the Water Industry - Malaysia's Water Treatment Operator Perspective. Meanwhile, SWAn also imparted some knowledge with a presentation on Climate Change and Water Resources.
This achievement also had opened up the public eyes that the task of conserving and protecting the environment were not only relied on the government and its agencies alone, but it is also the public’s responsibility to ensure we could live in a harmonious ecosystem.
