CSR Initiative

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), also known as corporate responsibility, corporate citizenship, responsible business, sustainable responsible business (SRB) and corporate social performance is a form of corporate self-regulation integrated into a business model.

Ideally, CSR policy would function as a built-in, self-regulating mechanism whereby business would monitor and ensure their adherence to law, ethical standards, and international norms. Business would embrace responsibility for the impact of their activities on the environment, consumers, employees, communities, stakeholders and all other members of the public sphere.

Essentially, CSR is the deliberate inclusion of public interest into corporate decision-making, and the honouring of a triple bottom line: People, Planet, Profit.

Therefore, towards achieving Malaysia sustainable development for our future generations and to continue enjoying our natural resources, it is the duty and responsibility of every individual and corporation, including the PNHB Group, to protect and conserve the natural environment in our daily lives activities.

We advocate sustainable environment through managing our daily operation and activities in a responsible manner to minimise activities that could harm the environment and nature. We support a precautionary approach to environmental challenges, undertake initiatives to promote greater environmental responsibilities and encourage the development and diffusion of environmentally friendly technologies.

Community

We support philanthropic and charitable giving, support for and active engagement with the local communities through volunteering and other programmes. We also support and encourage our employees to help local community organisations and activities in the areas where we operate in.
