Tuan Haji Bakri Jamaluddin
Tuan Haji Bakri bin Jamaluddin was born in Melaka on 14 dec 1964 and graduated with a Diploma in Agriculture from Universiti Pertanian Malaysia (UPM) in 1985.
He started his career with Kuala Lumpur Kepong Berhad (KLK) in 1985 as Cadet Planter and retired as Senior General Manager with optional retirement on own accord in 2019. He has almost 34 years of working experience in the oil palm plantation industry and other agro related fields such as rubber and cocoa in Peninsular Malaysia and Indonesia. Throughout his service with KLK, he went through 19 years of experience in Peninsular Malaysia (Johor, Perak, Pulau Pinang, Kedah and Negeri Sembilan) and 15 years of experience in Indonesia (Riau, Kalimantan Timur and Jakarta).
Tuan Haji Bakri was previously the Board of Director for Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB) from June 2020 to September 2021, a Dispute Resolution Committee (DRC) for Malaysia Palm Oil Certificate Council (MPOCC) from July 2020 to July 2021, a Committee Member of Gabungan Asosiasi Pengusaha Kelapa Sawit Indonesia (GAPKI Kalimantan Timur) from 2014 to 2016 and was appointed as Main Committee member of Mechanization and Automation Research Consortium of Oil Palm (MARC()P) on February 2021. Currently, he is an Independent Non Executive Director of TH Plantations Berhad.
In acldition to his professional career, he is also actively involved in social and local community activities. He had served as Pengerusi Masjid Tun Abd Ghafar Baba in Sungai Udang, Melaka. He had also contributed actively to support lkatan Daei Indonesia (IKADI) from 2012 to 2016, and has strong relationship with NGOs, such as, Pertubuhan Warisan Ukhwah dan Amal Prihatin.
