En. Suwardi Bin Mistor has almost thirty (30) years of solid working experience in plantation industry which covers in various areas of estate operation and estate support functions that include rehab (field sanitation), new planting, quarry, oil palm mill operation and management, fleet management and foreignworkers matter.

He began his career as a Cadet Assistant with Asiatic Development Berhad in year 1992 where he was assigned to Tanah Merah Estate, Tangkak, Johor. In 1999, he joined IOI Corporation Berhad for eight (8) years and hold the last position as Manager overseeing the estate at Bukit Dinding, Pahang. He works in Indonesia with two (2) companies i.e. PT Aditya Agrindo and PT Sawit Nabati Agro (IOI Indonesia) as a Group Manager and Plantation Controller for five (5) years and nine (9) months.

Prior to joining Danum Sinar Sdn Bhd, he was the Head of Overseas Plantation with Samling Plantations Sdn Bhd and was based in Bintulu, Sarawak. He worked with the company from year 2019 until July 2023.

En. Suwardi Bin Mistor holds a Diploma in Planting Industry and Management from Institut Teknologi Mara (currently known as Universiti Teknologi Mara) in year 1992.
